Nick DiCola is a voice and accent coach based in Los Angeles, CA. He spent the last seven years working in London, training actors in vocal health, breath, support, accent and dialect, as well as voiceover. He was the Head of Voice at The Musical Theatre Academy and taught voice and dialects on the MA Voice Studies Course and BA Acting Course at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Other teaching includes Rose Bruford College, Playing Up for the National Youth Theatre, London Dramatic Academy with Fordham University, London School of Dramatic Art, City Literary Institute. Nick was the deputy dialect coach for the West End show, Billy Elliot and Billy Elliot: UK Tour. Other recent shows include Jersey Boys: International Tour, Vanities: The Musical with Trafalgar Studios, and A Lie in the Mind with Southwark Playhouse. Nick works privately with individual clients, talent agencies, theatre and film production companies, as well as voice over for tech companies.
Nick holds an MA in Voice Studies from Central School of Speech and Drama (London, UK), and a BA in both Linguistics and Russian Language from the University of Rochester (Rochester NY, USA).
